This Summer bank holiday is set to be a scorcher on the Lydden track as the sixth round of the sensational MSA British Rallycross Championship brings the action back to the sport’s spiritual home.
Get set for high-tech, turbocharged, 600bhp, four-wheel-drive supercars, tearing around the mixed surface Lydden track, as the MSA British Rallycross Championship returns once again on August 29th.
Sure to be day of breathtaking battles and edge of your seat entertainment, the fight for top spot will be a heated one. Currently leading the Championship is Citroen DS3 Supercar driver Dan Rooke, in what is his maiden season; he will be looking to repeat his first place finish at the last round in Belgium, and replicate his round two win back in March, by ruling Lydden once again.
But, his current reign could come to an end, as there is, as always, fierce competition waiting at the start line to take the track title, from such drivers as 2015 champion Julian Godfrey, who currently sits in second place in the series.
